I designed NativeTalk, a cloud-based phone system tackling connectivity challenges for remote teams. My goal was to create an intuitive experience that allows users to connect seamlessly from any device.
I focused on enhancing communication with features like ghost numbers, video calls, and messaging, prioritising user-friendliness and flexibility. This user-centric approach helped NativeTalk meet diverse needs and stand out in a competitive market.

Global Communication Gaps: Individuals and businesses need flexible, cost-effective phone systems that allow them to communicate globally without relying on physical SIM cards or devices.
Lack of Device Flexibility: Traditional phone systems tie users to specific devices, making it difficult to switch between devices and maintain connectivity.
Competitor Pressure: To stand out, NativeTalk needed to differentiate itself with unique features like ghost numbers and seamless integration with business tools, while keeping the interface user-friendly.

Common Complaints: Users often struggled with managing multiple devices and SIM cards for global communication.
Onboarding Delays: The onboarding process needed improvements to reduce the time it took for customers to start using the service.
User Preferences: Flexibility and simplicity were key drivers for users, who wanted an intuitive experience that allowed them to switch devices seamlessly.
We identified two main user groups:
