AI Powered Custom Outfit Measurement Web App
Almost 2 billion people use Custom Clothing as their default clothing.
Tailors, designers and customers everywhere face a familiar problem. Ordering custom clothing remotely often leads to mistakes in measurements, returns, and frustration. Clients want confidence that their garments will fit perfectly without visiting a shop, and tailors need a reliable way to capture measurements from anywhere.
Fitted set out to solve this with a platform that makes remote custom clothing orders simple, precise, and enjoyable. At the heart of the solution is an AI-powered feature, Fashion Crystal Ball, which transforms text descriptions into design-ready suggestions for measurements and outfit visualisations.

The Challenges
Measurement Challenges: Tailors across Africa struggle to obtain accurate measurements from clients who are not physically present, leading to lost business opportunities.
Client Retention Issues: Without a way to measure customers remotely, tailors risk losing clients when they are outside their primary location.
Inefficient Processes: Current methods of obtaining measurements are time-consuming and cumbersome, impacting tailors' efficiency and customer satisfaction.
My Role
The mission was clear: create a system that allows tailors to measure clients remotely, confidently, and efficiently. As the lead of a three-person design team, I :
Collaborated with the product management team to understand the problem and proposed solutions.
Conducted extensive research, interviewing over 20 representative tailors to identify challenges in obtaining measurements and how to alleviate those issues.
Developed the user flow for the Tailor Create Measurement Flow using the Autosize feature.
Provided ongoing support to the development team to ensure the final product aligned with the design specifications.
